We at The Georgia Trail want to thank you for your interest. The typical executive golf courses and driving ranges are not known for superior service within the golf industry. But we are NOT your typical executive golf course. One of our main goals is to exceed your expectations while providing a “whole family golf experience” that will allow everyone to be able to learn, play and enjoy this wonderful game. We are proud to provide an environment that is family safe.
We offer:
“Regulation Executive Golf Course” with par 4’s and par 3’s (NOT a chip and putt). Our course features a picturesque 2.5-acre lake and a plethora of streams and ponds providing several challenges for golfers of all abilities. Five sets of tees ensures the course is playable for golfers of all abilities.
Driving range (real grass) 25 stations that allow golfers to indulge their desires to practice on real grass. On wetter days, we do have the capability of an artificial grassed tee line that will prevent mud and water splash. We rotate the hitting area every day to allow the practice area to heal properly and provide the golfer with the best condition possible each time they come to our facility.
Teaching Academy Ernie Boshers, PGA is currently recognized by GOLF Magazine®, Golf Digest® and Golf Week®. This recognition includes selection as “One of the top teachers in the country” and as “One of the most sought after instructors in golf.” As the Director of Instruction/Golf at The Georgia Trail, he has developed a teaching program that is centered on a time tested and proven method for teaching. An “instinctive, simple and incremental development of the swing” is the cornerstone of the academy and will provide you with an enjoyable experience that delivers better scores. We provide you with drills and the tools that improve and simplify your technique. We only use instructors that have been trained and certified through the PGA, LPGA and personally through our Director of Golf, Ernie Boshers.
“Champions Trail” miniature-putting course The “Champions Trail” our miniature-putting course, is constructed from the latest and most technologically advanced synthetic putting surface available today. It is frequently found on the back-yard putting greens in the most exclusive homes in the country. The “Champions Trail” is a to-scale replica of a 7410-yard championship golf course, complete with sand bunkers, out-of-bounds, fairways and rough. No clowns or windmills, but it does contain an amazing experience that replicates “real golf” on a slightly smaller stage.
“Augusta’s” Chef Managed and Operated Restaurant Our fully equipped “Augusta’s” restaurant and bar boast a menu that succulent and healthy. Our chef prepares daily specials as well as our regular menu.
Golf Shop fully stocked with golf merchandise and full service professional services that include club-fitting, club repair, ball and driver fitting using computerized launch monitor technology.
